Sunday AM
God wants all of you so that you can have all of Him. He wants our hearts. Live according to the word.
What does it mean to be spiritually whole? A state of being (Complete, restored, unbroken, soundness-integrity, encompassing physical- spiritual, and emotional well being, spiritual maturity and conformity)
Having the mindset of Christ is possible.
There is a great shaking on the Earth. Only what pleases Him remains.
Matt 22:37-40
God wants:
1. Heart:
How do you love the Lord with all your heart and mind?
Involves a complete and devoted surrender to God’s will in every aspect of your being. Prioritize God above all else, seeking to know Him through His word and actively aligning your thoughts and your emotions and your actions with commands and character.
Let’s talk about the heart: affection and devotion.
Loving God with you heart means giving him great affection, devotion and to treasure Him above all else.
Prioritizing God: Involves making God the center of your life, seeking him in all you do, and making decisions that align with His will.
2. Soul
Spiritual Life:
Loving God with all your soul means finding your satisfaction and fulfillment in Him experiencing a deep connection with the Holy Spirit.
Spiritual Growth:
Involves nurturing your spiritual life through prayer, reading the scripture, seeking to understand God’s will for your life.
3. Mind
You must have engagement with God.
Loving God with your mind involves actively seeking the knowledge of God, studying His word and allowing the knowledge to shape your understanding of the world and your actions.
(Obedience and Discernment)
It means making decisions and aligning with His commandments and His character. Using your intelligence to discern His will in your daily life.
The best example that I can think of: you are going to have to get involved reading the word, seeking wisdom through prayer, striving to understand God’s word and apply it to your life. Ask the Holy Spirit. He’s your guide,He’s your comforter. He’ll explain it to you and give you wisdom on how to apply it.
Luke 15:4-7,Romans 12:1-2
Being spiritually whole means having a sense of completeness and harmony in your relationship with God, and being full of God’s love.
