2 TIm 2:15 What does it mean to approach God?

Ephesians 3:12 In Him and through faith in Him we may approach Him with freedom and confidence.

Study to show yourself approved. Speak the Word.

Ephesians 1:5-8 Reminds us of the truth: God in advance to adopt us into His family through His son Jesus Christ. By His glorious grace He has poured out on us.

God wants you to advance.With confidence draw near the throne. Ephesians 3:14-20 Hebrews 4:15-16

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think according to the power at work within us. To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.

Be rooted and grounded in love.

Romans 16:25-27 to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen. Jude 1:24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumblingand to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy.

Hebrews 11:1 

1.  Faith in God is confidence.

2. We have hope-God will reward those who seek Him. Heb. 11:6

3.  Faith is believing God will never leave us. Ps 34:10 But those who seek the Lord, lack no good thing.

4. He prepares a way. Strength to finish. Equips-gets us ready for each task. 

Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God/all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. 

5. We must learn to persevere (Endure) in difficult times

Continue-Keep your eyes on the Lord Heb. 10:35-39 Endurance Romans 5:3-4 Therefore do not cast away your confidence. 

6. Serve God Col. 3:22-24 Knowing that from Him you will receive the inheritance as your reward. Your are serving the Lord Christ.

7. Every race has a finish line and a prize. God will do what He says He will do.

Phil 3:13-14 Go back before Paul found Christ. Phil 3:5-6 He knew the law but………. not Jesus. Why reach out for the prize? Glorifies God-Grow in Him.

All see you have really changed (regeneration) All will see the Truth in action.  You have assurance in your heart that you truly belong to Christ.

Ps 86:11, 2 Peter 3:18 Grow in Grace-Knowledge, Love, Mercy, Kindness to all.

1 Cor 15:12 Face to Face with the one we love and serve.

1 Tim 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith-take hold of the eternal life. to which you were called. (Hang in there)

Total means-anything and everything (all things we see, experience, exist, people, lives, events, everything leads back to God (Our beginning)

Faith Journey Phil 4:6-7 Learn the true meaning of faith. God wants you to learn how faith works. He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Heart gets hardened against authority. Do not be anxious about anything… let your requests be know to God. Pray, Stand, Wait.  Don’t trust the arm of flesh. You have to put in ingredients : The Word, Ask, Believing. Whatever it takes to get faith.  Praise and worship.

Romans 10:17 Mechanism-natural, extablished process by which something comes about. Stand, hearing the Word, Faith is taught.So faith comes from hearing and hearing through the Word of Christ. Stay in faith.Your trial is your testimony. You can’t make it without faith..

Matthew 13:58 (Read this whole chapter, good for you, …and He did not many works there, because of their unbelief.

Hebrews 11:1-Now Faith, Eph 3:16-17 Strengthen you with power., 2 Cor 5:7-We live by faith, not by sight. Heb 11:6-Without faith it is impossible to please God John 11:40- Did I not tell you that if you believe…, James 1:3- testing of your faith produces perservenence,  Matt 21:22-if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask in prayer.

Isaiah 42:5-9

1. I am the Lord; that  is my name. 

I have called you.

He equips us even when we don’t know Him.

2. Fear Not, I am with you.

I will strengthen you.

I will help you.

i will uphold you.

With My righteous right hand

3. He will guide us forever. Ps23:3-5

He restores my soul.  

He leads me in paths of righteousness.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will not fear.

Why? Because you are with me. Your word comforts me. You prepare a table before me.

Psalm 78:19-20 We are called out.

Psalm 78:22-28 He made you out of dirt. He formed you in His image.

1.  He commanded the skies above and opened the door of Heaven.

He Opened.

2. He rained down on them manna to eat.

3.  He sent food in abundance.

4. By His power he rained down birds in their camp and around their dwellings.

5. And they ate and were filled.

He Is With Us.

We are called out to love Him with all our hearts, soul and mind.

John 14:6-15 Life and death are in the power of the tongue.  He’s not through with you yet.  He has a plan.

How can we know the way?. Jesus said,”I am the way, the truth and the life.”

We are carriers of the gospel.  Take your hands off. surrender to the Lordship of God.

Love like God loves.

Forgive because He forgave you.  

Ask anything in My name and I will do it. If you love me you will keep my commandments.

Hebrews 9:8

Hebrews 10:20-28 Draw near with a true heart. Have full assurance when you make declarations.  Do what you are suposed to do. Hold fast our confession of our hope-For He who promised is faithful.  Can’t go on sinning after you’ve met Him.

Psalm 57:1-2 Our victory is in Him. We will have storms. How do you handle the storm? No matter what, God is there. We are never alone. 

I cried out to God most high.Be merciful to me, O God. David was remembering everything he had done wrong. God surround me.  Give me another chance. Be a peacemaker. You will have storms in your life. No matter what.

We cry out to God who fulfills His purpose in us.  God is in control.  God has a plan.

Eph 1:3-4 He’s got your life. He knows the future. Cry out to Him. Time for us to cry out to God.  God wants you to understand that He’s got you. Where there is fear, there is torment. Wait on God. You will come through- the storm will pass.

Psalm 138:3-7, Eph 1: 11-12, Exodus 9:23-24 the prophet Isaiah knew all about the storms of life.

Isaiah 25:4 You have to go through things. God will take care of you.

Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos, Daniel all talked about the storms they had to endure. In the new Testament 4 times Jesus and the disciples are mentioned as being in the midst of the storm.

In the dark of the midnight have I oft hid my face

While the storm howls above me

And there’s no hiding place

Mid the crash of the thunder precious Lord hear my cry

Keep me safe til the storm passes by.

Til the storm passes over, til the thunder sounds no more

Til the clouds roll forever from the sky

Hold me fast and let me stand in the hollow of thy hand

Keep me safe til the storm passes by.

And all God’s people said AMEN!

John 11:1-44

1. Martha & Mary, sisters of Lazarus. Sometimes your mouth can get you in a lot of trouble.  Martha had a big mouth. Stop blocking your miracle.

He deliberately didn’t go to her because she was telling Him what to do. When you want a miracle you need to walk it out.

2. God’s got it. (Let Him be God. He can delay a miracle, His will can and does enter in our natural world.)

God wants to do things His way. Take your hand off of it. Maybe God wants to humble you. Stand by faith. Trust God. God gets the glory. 

3. Martha- gets frustrated and blamed Jesus for the death of her brother Lazarus.

4. He will come to the place of unbelief (tomb) to see if you are still in faith. 

People don’t want to go through anything. Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you.  Don’t tell Him how. Trust Him.

5. Human logic will block a miracle in our life. Faith is built. You have to wait. Sometimes it takes time. Forgive, have joy.

6.  Stay in the Word, and His promises. He wants you to be healed. Everything you go through is your testimony. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.  Stand fast therefore.

2Kings 4:9 

1) The Holy man passes by regularly

2) Let’s make a room for Elisha

3)Jesus is not just passing by, He is always there

4) Make room for Him.

5) His presence is always with the man or woman of God. Luke 18:37 Mark 6:40 Blind Bartimaus was told by someone, Jesus is passing by now. Faith is a now word. Jesus would have passed by, but Peter said “Is that you?”

2 Kings 4:6 It’s not enough to say Jesus is here (presence) but has it changed you and me.

6) God’s presence is like a river.

7) His power is always moving

2 Kings 4:6 Joshua 10:12-14

Stand Still and see the glory of God. (Let Him be God and your miracle will manifest. (clear or obvious to the eye or mind) (Display- by ones acts or demonstration of faith.) (Truth-proof-the evidence is on the way) 

Wait for it:

Jesus is passing by.

Someone has to say, “Lord, is that you?”

Take time to cry out to God for your own miracle.

Jesus is passing by:

1) Stand still and see the glory of God.

2) Let Him be God (take your hands off your situation)

3) Release your faith and bind your fears in the name of Jesus.

4) God knows every circumstance in our lives.

5) God will hear your cry, and your miracle will manifest itself.
